Once you’ve crossed the highway, this is a lovely hike that is moderately challenging compared to other nearby stretches of the AT. No scrambles or overly challenging climbs, but certainly more strenuous than the nearby Basin Pond trail. Definitely check out the massive cabin just off the AT proper.

Just took the dog for a walk. Trail can range from easy to hard use common sense.
