FAQ for Dog Park & Bone Run in Largo Florida:
Super convenient little park for me. It’s nice to bring my boys for 30 mins as I have no yard. Kinda neighborhood vibe. There’s times when groups meet up daily. I usually go when no one is there.
Tried this as a new park. The off leash area is SMALL and no water. All water is on leash walk. Good if you have a small dog, but waste of time if you have a big dog. Try northeast park. If medium to large dog. No water but large area and friendly people.
Several separate areas to have your pet run, but they do not have any running water for your pet to drink, another downfall you have to paid for parking
It was smallish, but plenty of space for us. The large and small dogs are together which was frightening for our medium dog upon entering. The large dogs crowd the entrance, while the owners sit there chatting. Once we got past the rush of big dogs, we could enjoy the park more.
The park is a nice little park for the pups to release their energy. However beware of the 4-6pm crew, they are an older crabby bunch that think they own the park and are quick to pour water on other dogs if they feel the dog is too excited. Minus those people the park is nice and my pup loves it!
