You can not use the baseball field anymore…. They locked it to the public.. And only the league can use it. I am only assuming. Was once open all the time to the public. So the people who live in the neighborhood can’t enjoy it anymore or the public. Just recently locked it. And no signs showing why they are locked now. And they finally took down the no dogs allowed for the whole park. Only thing positive about it.

Saw this park from the road and it appears great with shade and next to a soccer and baseball field. Unfortunately, it lacks maintenance. The floor is tore up with lots of holes, there are boards covering areas of the structure that are missing and some of the rock climbing rocks are loose and falling off. There were some music instruments which are in good shape and my toddler enjoyed playing that; but we left soon since he didn’t feel safe on the play structure.

The slides at this park have been gone for years now and the rubberized floor is in bad shape and needs replacement. The place needs more attention for our kids. It’s good to see the baseball field getting a facelift but the soccer goals could use some help with the Nets as well

Always a great stop for the kids. The play structure is great but may be a little big for smaller kids. Nice shade trees for picnics and birthday party. When not being used the soccer and baseball fields give plenty of room for activities.

Pualani Blue Park,Amazing cozy little park right off the highway. It is surrounded by the Pualani neighborhood houses, and it is fairly safe for kids all ages. Currently there’s a found raiser going on to help restore the playground site. Please look into it for collaboration. The fields are well taken care of by the county, that also does a great job maintaining the restrooms clean and stocked.Usually it opens from 7am – 8pm, and you can find this places available 365 days per year.If you’re visiting Kona, it’s definitely a great place for a picnic, play time with kids, yoga, jog, playing soccer, baseball, softball, and you have a plus for finding papayas almost all year around.Great for kids and adults,Enjoy!
