The Park Dock Waterfront Public Access Point at 2 Broad St, Jamestown, RI, is a hidden gem for those seeking pet-friendly trails, scenic waterfront views, and a relaxing place to unwind with their dogs. This local favorite offers expansive open grassland, walking trails, picnic tables, and breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, making it a popular destination for both pet owners and families. Fishing is allowed throughout the peninsula, and dog owners are encouraged to pick up after their pets, supporting a clean and welcoming environment.
While there is no specific fenced dog area, the park is welcoming to leashed dogs, and plenty of green space and shady spots make it comfortable for both pets and owners. There are multiple free parking lots (though spaces may be limited in peak months), restrooms, covered picnic areas, and several benches or adult swings for seating, creating an inviting and family-friendly atmosphere. The park is well-maintained, with signs reminding visitors to stay safe along the rocky shorelines.
A wonderful place to bring the family for a day of fishing or lunch
Ok place. Very limited parking, 3 non resident spots. Police come every hour and ticket cars
Gorgeous and I would give it more stars, but it is locals only. While I can understand that, I don’t like it nor think it right per RI constitution and the shoreline should be available for everyone.
Very pleasant, actually No cook out parties, loud music,, or kids running out of control. Was able to do our thing and leave. With issue’s..
Beautiful private area to go fishing or just sit by the ocean and bask in the ambiance! One of the most peaceful spots to unwind.
