The nearby sign says this 26 foot tall replica of this National symbol was installed in 1953. It sure is in fine condition, looks fresh as last year.Beautiful place to visit. Some great trees here to enjoy as wall. Path is perfectly conditioned too. Please visit here.

A really cute little park with a lovely picnic area, perfect for a quick stop or a relaxing afternoon. What makes it extra special is that it’s home to both the Koochiching Historical Museum and the Bronko Nagurski Museum, so you get a nice mix of nature and history in one spot. Great place to stroll, learn, and enjoy the outdoors!

Nice little park to take photos. Lots of murals downtown. A football player-Bronko N****skies museum is next door to the statues.

OK, IF you are in the area and you have kids, or maybe you are a kid at heart, then by all means, take time to see Smokey Bear. This 23-foot high statue was erected in 1953. He still looks pretty good despite his age. The park adjacent to Smokey is a great place to relax and have a picnic lunch. There are lots of picnic tables and plenty of room for the kids to run off some energy. There is also a large pavillon area that can accommodate a small gathering if one is so inclined.
