Wasn’t a fan of walking through the field. The trial around the pond was too muddy to walk.Saw lots of frogs and a turtle around the left side of the pond.We went out and back through the field but I did see in another review that you can loop around by the pond when that trail is passable. Disappointed we couldn’t go that way.

We love camping here. Little walk back but it’s a great pond to kayak on and listen to the peepers at, and some nice spots to the left when you get to the pond, and even more if you continue along the right side of the pond. One of our top spots when camping out in the FLNF!
