Its small with a tiny bit of shade & a lot of dirt. You might loose dog toys into the canal that is separated by a chain link fence.

Nice and quiet. It would be much better if people would pick up after their dogs – poop everywhere. I don’t understand how people want to have dogs but don’t want to be responsible to clean up after them.

Nice, quiet, pleasant. Mostly dirt, so wouldn’t recommend after a rain, but it worked well for my dogs & me. Separate small & large (32+ lbs) fenced areas, very welcome bench & picnic table in the small dog area. Right next to the San Lorenzo Creek, lotsa nice trees. Easy to find with off-street parking. Good job Hayward! One suggestion, if I may: when school playgrounds get their mulch/bark stuff replaced, put the old stuff in the dog park to help reduce mud.
