Had a blast at this dog park in 2025! 🐶 It’s got tons of shade, open space, benches, and water for the pups—perfect for a sunny day. Bring your own poop bags, though, as they were out when we visited. Totally worth the trip! The surrounding park is awesome too, with walking trails, disc golf, baseball fields, picnic tables, a rec center, and even an amphitheater. The disc golf course is a gem—gorgeous grass fairways, solid basket placement, and decent distances. 🥏 No UDisc? Just find the first hole online, then follow the arrows to navigate. It’s a beautiful spot to spend an afternoon with your dog or friends!

I play disc golf at Sam Michael’s every week, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week, and have done so for 4 years because its close to home. The grass ranges from 6″ to a foot high every time I play. Today the guy mowing, was cutting the baseball fields that were already a well maintained 2.5″. The entire disc golf course was over 14″ tall.

Very Nice Dog Park! Plenty of Shade and Open Area. There are Benches and Water for the Dogs. You May Need to Bring Your Own Dog Poop Bags Because They Were Completely Out. Well Worth the Visit!!The Area also has Walking Trails, Disc Golf, Baseball Fields, Picnic Tables, Recreation Center, Amphitheater, Etc. Really Nice Park.

Biggest and nicest dog park I have ever been to. Stopped through on my way from TN to MD. My dog and I loved it. There was a walking trail all the way around the park. There was a shaded tree area with seating too.Encountered two dog owners, all polite and friendly dogs. Such a cool place. Wish my city had one like this!Bags provided, as were trash cans and a water spicket.
