After a long day of driving we purposely went out of the way to visit this park to play with our dog so he could stretch his legs. Wish I would have read the reviews instead of trusted the star rating.
As others have noted, NO DOGS ALLOWED. The park was empty as in ZERO. But to respect the rules we left and ended up at the Girl Scout trails.
Not sure I’ve ever been to a park that did not allow dogs whatsoever.

Very clean and well maintained park. There are also horseshoe pits and volleyball area for adults. I didn’t see any shoes around the pit so you would have to bring your own as well as volleyball.
