Being a conservation area means activities must be passive. No biking, horseback or motorized activities. Also, no picnic tables here. There are learning activities (check the schedule on PA Parks) There are seven hiking trails and the Appalachian Trail passes through. Well kept, easy trails. Great for a short hike with the kiddos. Also found some cool salamanders and bugs as we explored.
Enchanting forest paths and not too many rocks underfoot. Trail maps were unavailable the day I visited, but the trails are well marked and loop back. My service dog loved it.
Wonderful trails to hike on!! As you’re walking along, at one point( or some point) you end up on the Appalachian Trail!! Pretty darn cool!
