The park itself is small with a lot of residential properties surrounding the area. The camp hosts are available, and helpful! There’s a boat ramp as well as life jackets hanging aside for anyone who wants to borrow them as well as a fish cleaning station, pool and volleyball court. It was a great great landing spot in between destinations but will unlikely stay there again due to the surroundings. There’s a Walmart in town if needed for provisions.

Pretty area with great views of Grand Lake. Clean but outdated campground made for a weird stay. Pleasant hosts made up for bathrooms that are falling apart. Black mold everywhere you can’t reach. Probably why it’s not being cleaned. Park itself is trash free. Some sites are right on top of each other. Best to come and pick your own spot. Online is definitely a misrepresentation of how close sites are of each other.

This is a nice state park. It wasn’t overcrowded. We had a spot that gave us 30 amp and water. There was a nearby dump station and a nearby bath and restroom. We had a very nice shady level spot at NULL a night. And the lake was in walking distance. It was pet friendly.
