We have been coming to Green Valley Dog training for the past 5 years since our dog was a puppy and couldn’t be happier with them. Our puppy really needed training and socializing and Green Valley did an amazing job. Our dog learned commands and cues that helped her when walking and when encountering other people and dogs. Shauna continued to give us assitance as our dog moved on to different stages in her development. In addition, we were allowed to board our dog at the location which was such a comfort for us. They truly care about your dog. We highly recommend Green Valley.
Lovely easy trail for a walk. Mostly flat. Nice views.
Beautiful little hike. Not difficult at all. The entrance of the trail is right where the sign is. Also, the Sierra Creek Canyon Trail is to the left of the sign shown in the picture. It wasn’t very clear to us.
We took our 7month old Amstaff to Shauna for boarding and training. Shauna took great care of Harley and took her from a roudy little puppy to a well trained companion. We didn’t know what to expect and needed someone to watch her when we went on vacation. With our surprise we got her back with detailed instructions and how to keep up what she learned in puppy boot camp. After just 3 weeks at home she is a completely different dog. We highly recommend anyone thinking of training to follow through it is completely worth it!!! Shauna follows up with us and answers any questions we have had during the transition period. Highly… Highly… recommend.
The Canyon View Preserve is a great small preserve with about 1.5 miles of total trials. There is a main one mile loop trail and two 1/4 mile spur trails. There are views of the canyon from the beginning of the trail and as it descends some the loop trail goes into a more wooded area with shade and even a creek in the spring.
This is a beautiful spot to watch the moon rise over the Sierra! Right off of interstate 80, favorite place for locals to look at the mountains and the American River Canyon. When you’re in Auburn get off on the Bowman exit, look toward the canyon on the east side, your right there!
