This is a very nice quiet park without a lot of people. they have a nice walking trail, a brand new playground, any bathroom building, four shelters you can rent, a drone zone, and 2 basketball courts. There is plenty of grass space for throwing balls or playing frisbee.

I went there for the movie in the park night but because it had been raining they cancelled the movie and didn’t let anyone know that they cancelled it other than that I like the park

We visited Flatwood Park for a birthday party, and it was absolutely delightful! 😊 There were plenty of picnic tables with covered shelters, making it perfect for gatherings and providing nice shaded spots to relax.

The walking trails were a peaceful escape for a little stroll, and the playground kept the kids entertained for hours! It’s such a great spot for families to enjoy a day outdoors.

Highly recommend for any event or just a day out in nature! 🌳🎉

This park has some neat walking trails. And an excellent play ground for kids. Plenty of parking and a drone flying field. Bathrooms. You can find Indian sign trees here pointing to water. Very enjoyable place to walk, some paths are paved some are not. The only draw backs are it’s very close to the water table so when it rains some of the trails and soggy. Also some of the trails are poorly maintained and the wooden bridges of some very nice looking spots are near completely destroyed. Who ever maintains this place needs to get there act to gather and get those bridges fixed and those trails reopened. All in all it’s still a park worth checking out and a gem if you live near by and have never been there or are unaware it’s there.

I really enjoyed a hike at Flatwoods. There is a playground up front and pavilions for gatherings. The trail was clean and kept up with. I only explored the paved paths but found that it was a nice, quick walk around some beautiful nature. Appears to be dog friendly as well. This is a nice place to come enjoy fresh air and its not too far from town.
