It’s a very nice place to hike and exercise. It has several outdoor exercise equipment. Not far from the anything yet quite. Also, hones are not too far from it as well. It is well maintained.
It looks like the majority of this creek is privately owned so it’s nice to see and experience these publicly created preserves. I haven’t found the creek yet, but I found other things.
I’ve visited Turkey Creek Preserve several times with my dog. It’s a beautiful convenient location for a pleasant hike with plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. It’s just a little overgrown in some areas and needs more regular maintenance.
Very well maintained property and trails. Some sections were closed due to flooding, but I still managed a 4 mile loop through the property. The trails pass through all sorts of beautiful scenery and the woods are filled with birds.
Great preserve with established and maintained, wide trails. Good signage and large parking lot. Leashed dogs are allowed. No trash can or bathroom, so plan to pack out any waste. We had a nice morning birding here.
