I have worked with Fur and Ferns a couple times now (Val). Our dog has loved training, and is very comfortable with Val. I personally was very excited to find a trainer that felt aligned with the type of training I was looking for. The resources and information shared has been really helpful. We have tried a couple other great trainers but Fur and Ferns felt like a comfortable fit right away. Their passion is obvious and shows in everything they do. Excited to continue and maybe attend a group event someday!

Valerie is very professional and resourceful when it comes to stressful moments with your dog. I was watching a Rover client and didn’t have any of the right tools to get this dog out to have fun. She lend me a great long leash, a teaser toy and a hard chew to entertain the young pup I was watching. She dropped everything to meet up with me to give these very important tools. This is just the most recent act of gratitude I have for Val. There are countless others.

Fur and Ferns has been a complete game changer for me and my anxious/reactive puppy, Daisy. Alisha always provides so much valuable information during our training sessions. Daisy used to bark and growl at any dog in sight to now, being able to walk calmly past most dogs we encounter (of course, Daisy does still have her off days as anyone would expect). Daisy’s confidence outside the home has absolutely skyrocketed thanks to Alisha and the Fur & Ferns Canine Club! I truly would be lost without Alisha’s guidance! Every training session is so fun and inspiring both for me and Daisy. We love Fur and Ferns!
