Stayed here the night of 8/28/25 & everything went smooth. Park was nice & quiet, office staff was extremely nice, they come & pick up your trash for you at your campsite which is a bonus. Restrooms were clean & the spots were in shaded areas. Only Paid NULL for the night.

The trails wind through quiet woods with a lot of shade, which made the walk feel calm and a little more secluded compared to busier parks. The lake was the highlight for me. It’s peaceful with spots where you can pause and take in the view or snap some photos. I managed to get a few nice shots !! The park has a simple, natural vibe, nothing too flashy, which I actually liked—it felt like a good place to clear my head and just enjoy being outdoors. Overall, it was a low-key but rewarding walk, and I’d go back again for another quiet afternoon.

Beautiful and clean park. You could see the fish in the swamp. The trails are nicely marked. You can go mountain biking, fishing, boating, hiking, picnicking, camping, and more. They have a nice camping section. We also visited the archery area with longest distance 40 and shortest 15. The bathroom was clean
