We just stayed one as we traveled east. Site 5 is avery nice site. It took a couple blocks to level the RV front to back. Large separation between neighboring camp sites. Recommended ‼️
This is a beautiful place for camping. Not much bugs or mosquitoes to bother. The bathrooms are clean, it has hot water.
The lake is really nice and is accessible only for the campers.
Massive park that shrinks in the off season. We been twice before but in the winter, and they close a bunch of the loops for the season. We went over Memorial Day and was shocked at the size of the park when fully opened. It was still nice though since it was well planned. I believe we were in site 151, which is a big pull through but didn’t offer much privacy and adults and children both felt the need to cut through it on their way to and from the bathroom. Unfortunately we had to leave early because our toddler came down with a fever. Next time we plan to explore more.
Always our favorite spot to camp. We’ve been camping at the same spot since I was a child (I’m 28 now with a husband and baby)!! We took our daughter camping for the first time and had so much fun. The bathrooms are always clean. There are family bathrooms for the kiddos. The staff are always kind and helpful. Never a bad thing to say!
Rocky Gap Mountain Casino and Golf Course is so beautiful. The birds have the most beautiful feathers and sing like angels. I’ve been coming here all my life. I feel safe and at home. Do not come here to take life. This is a wildlife refuge, and the State Police will tax that ass. They have ice cream and comfort foods on the weekends. The caretakers work extra hard to get ready and even mow in the rain. I enjoy the mountain scenery here more than anywhere else. The wild life have a vulnerable status, and seeing Baltimore Ravens and female Orioles is rare. I’ve counted 9 Ravens so far and 6 male Orioles. The one has a baby girl, and he is a good daddy. He brought her out for me to meet her, and that is rare to see female Orioles out in the open. The males bring food back to them in their sanctuary. They stay in the trees and thicket most of the time. Respect their habitats. Wildlife in America and the world is becoming more and more scarce. Today the Ravens brought their beautiful loud baby girl out for me to see. She is so sweet. She has a very good daddy as well.
