Cute little park. We are driving through town and wanted a shaded spot to sit and have our lunch and this fit the bill. There appears to be a little walking trail as well.
Best park in Putnam county. Warm and welcoming.
This is an adorable park that seems to be or have been a community effort. The trail itself is not long, not a hiking trail, but it is very nicely kept. There are lovely handmade decorations, a bee hive, information on butterflies. We went when the only flowers in bloom were daffodils but there is promise of much more.
I was totally surprised and impressed with Briarpatch Park. If you have not been, it is definitely worth a visit. There is handicap parking and seating spaced out around the park. There are spots to have a picnic and leisurely wonder around the park.
