Discover a hidden gem for pet-friendly adventures at Cherry Creek Crossing Loop Trail in Delaware Water Gap, Pennsylvania. This scenic trail offers dog owners a peaceful escape surrounded by estuary landscapes, gentle creeks, and lush forests. While not a traditional fenced dog park, it’s a fantastic choice for dog-friendly hiking and exploring nature with your pup.
Highlights of this spot include well-kept walking paths, river crossings on stable cement columns, and a connecting soccer field. The trail is known for its tranquility, rarely crowded, making it a great retreat for those who enjoy quiet time with their dogs. Please note, there are no typical park amenities like benches, shelters, or off-leash fenced areas—this is a natural trail experience! Make sure to start at the activity fields and follow GPS for the best access.
We saw a few runners on the trail but part of it not so clear. It is best to go to the activity fieks and start there then follow the GPS to the start.

One of my favorite of all the Delaware estuaries to just “get lost” in. A very beautiful friend I had in my life at one point bought me a NULL pair of Solomon water shoes for my birthday. I’ll tell you right now, I put those puppies in good use 😏, nothing like finding places where you can still find stuff, and the one thing you don’t find is people, dogs, picnic tables or park benches. Just you and rhe sounds of the world before mankind

Hike we took was 2 1/4 miles. Trail is well kept. Crossing the river on the cement columns (very stable) was fun. Will do it again with the grandkids.
