Located at 400 Baylawn Ave in Copiague, the Dog Park at Tanner Park is a popular destination for dog owners in Suffolk County looking for a dog-friendly, outdoor experience. With onsite parking and accessible entry, this pet-friendly park offers local residents the chance to socialize their dogs and enjoy playtime in a dedicated space.
The park is known for its welcoming atmosphere, making it a great option for a fun day out with your furry companion. However, it’s important for visitors to help keep the area clean and follow posted rules, ensuring everyone’s enjoyment.
The animals here aren’t the dogs. Feces everywhere… everyone seems to think that the no-smoking rules don’t apply to them, and they don’t have to pick up after their dogs. Saw a puppy try to eat all the discarded cigarette butts off the ground. One guy here every day smoking a cigar ( probably previous owner of the one discarded here) with no regard to anyone else trying to use the park. DISGUSTING!!
Fun time with the pooch!🐶
