First time camping with my travel trailer here and had a great time, grounds were very clean and Tyler at the office was very helpful and gave me all the information I needed to find the perfect spot to camp at near the shower/restroom building also glad dogs are allowed on leashes! We’ll be back !

My husband and I are avid campers in our teardrop camper. We often stay at National and State parks. We stayed at this park Friday August 22. We knew we would be a late arrival after 930pm and started calling the park early Friday around noon. We called until 430pm then tried the after hours number. There was no answer at either number. We arrived and followed the map to our site that was provided on the website. Set up was quick and easy. We headed over to the showers, there was no outside lights around the restroom. It was completely dark walking up to the building. I would expect a motion detector light at least, A motion light would at least turn on the porch area when we walk up. The restroom needs major attention. There was mud dauber nest in the corners of the restroom in several places. The restroom stall have a large hole between the stalls that prevents privacy. The restroom was stocked with soap and the water was hot for the shower. Our site was nice and the park was quiet. We have stayed at many Texas State parks and this was not what we expected.

Nice overnight stop on our way going west. Park was quiet with few campers. Bathrooms were clean & satisfactory. We saw lots of rabbits running around. Enjoyed this stop.

We only stayed one night, since we were travelling on our way to Utah. But, we had a blast in this beautiful park with very clean restrooms. The amount of birds was amazing!! And the hiking trails are a lot of fun.

This was the cleanest park I have ever been to. The bathrooms, the cabins, the roads and everything in between.
The wildlife (which there is a TON of) comes right up to you almost, and the views are amazing.
You get decent phone service, the cabins have good air conditioners, microwave and mini fridge, and is just a very nice size for the whole family- again, VERY clean.
The Rangers were so kind, and checked up on things all the time.
All together I have nothing even slightly negative to say- this place is gorgeous and perfect.
My whole family- dog and all- had the best time!
