Campsites are small and have a lot of slope. Had neighbors that played loud music all day and half the night. Restrooms and showers need some major work. It does have a nice beach.

This little dog park is located near the boat ramp and the beach at Houston Woods State Park… This place is often occupied… Many people like to bring different size dogs here with their families… They have plenty of place to run fully fenced area watering spots and again this is an extremely close location to the water so you can always go to the park and then over to the beach. There is a designated area for animals at the beach.
