My dogs had fun in the dog beach. Water was very nice reminds me of being at a actual beach.
Had a fun day hanging out with friends and their toddlers at the beach only issue we had was when we started grilling hotdogs at a grill near the beach and we had multiple raccoons trying to sneak up on us after the babies started dropping food. Nature will be nature but still worried me with the little ones
Campsites are small and have a lot of slope. Had neighbors that played loud music all day and half the night. Restrooms and showers need some major work. It does have a nice beach.
This little dog park is located near the boat ramp and the beach at Houston Woods State Park… This place is often occupied… Many people like to bring different size dogs here with their families… They have plenty of place to run fully fenced area watering spots and again this is an extremely close location to the water so you can always go to the park and then over to the beach. There is a designated area for animals at the beach.
