Dog Anxiety: Causes, Signs & What Actually Helps
Many dogs show clear signs of dog anxiety, including pacing, panting, and seeking constant reassurance. If your dog paces, whines, […]

Jackrabbit Park is a small neighborhood green space located in Chandler, AZ, perfect for dog owners seeking a peaceful spot for their pups to play and socialize. The park features a large, neatly mowed grassy area ideal for dogs to run and relax, as well as a variety of play amenities for children, including a shaded playground and unique faux-rock climbing structure. While primarily known as a family-friendly park, Jackrabbit offers a clean environment and plenty of grass for pups to stretch their legs, making it one of the more laid-back dog-friendly parks in Chandler, Arizona.
Visitors will find comfortable picnic tables, benches, and scattered shade—thanks to both palm trees and covered spots—providing relief from Arizona’s sun. Trash bins are conveniently located throughout the park, contributing to its overall cleanliness. However, dog owners should note that there is only street parking available, and restrooms are sometimes locked. The park’s desert landscaping and easy-access sidewalk make it a quick stop for both pet-friendly walks and family outings. Though small, Jackrabbit Park’s well-maintained grounds and friendly atmosphere create a welcoming spot for the whole family—two-legged and four-legged alike.
Very small park with few play items. Ground is neat and clean needs some. Facilities
The park has a sidewalk that connects the elements, but it’s too short for you to get any cardio in; it takes about 2-3 minutes to walk from one end to the other. There are 2 picnic tables- one is not shaded, and another is shaded by a tree. There were also benches scattered throughout, with most by the playground; most aren’t shaded.
There’s no off-street parking, and the shaded playground had graffiti and the slides seemed worn out. The two nice things for the park is the park’s grass was neatly mowed, and I liked how the playground had monkey bars and you can get your upper body workout in.
Great park, two regular swings and two toddler swings.
Tiny little park with a great faux-rock climbing structure and fun twirly thing. Nothing special, but it’s generally always clean and the people are always pretty nice here. Big grassy areas too.
My review of: Jackrabbit Park.
This is a small neighborhood park. There is street parking only, no restrooms and no water fountain. This park is also desert landscaped along the street edge but has a green grassy center. The play equipment is under a shade structure and the play area is filled with wood chips.
