I really enjoyed my misty morning walk with my dog. Beautiful peaceful forest with a stream and wetland area. I had the whole place to myself and it was wonderful. I enjoyed watching the ducklings by the hatchery.
Peaceful spot
Very quiet little park with a short looped trail to walk. No one was there at all! A couple picnic tables and benches for sitting, I came and ate lunch here. No restrooms fyi. It is next to a highway so some parts are a little louder than others on the trail. Saw a lot of ducks and geese, and enjoyed looking at the fish in the fish hatchery. Overall a good experience.
Very nice little area that supports native aquatic community habitats, native trees, if you are in town and want to have lunch undisturbed this is a nice location, benches available but remote tucked behind admin buildings –
