Riche Park is a spacious, well-maintained dog park located in Castro Valley, CA. Known as one of the biggest parks in the area, it offers pet-friendly trails, plenty of parking, and stunning views of the Bay Area. Dog owners appreciate the fully fenced dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs, making it a safe and welcoming spot for all sizes and breeds. Well-maintained trails and open spaces make it perfect for dog-friendly hiking or just letting your pup run loose in a secure environment.
The park features double-gated entries for added safety, water fountains for dogs on both sides, and plenty of benches for owners to relax while their pets play. Visitors enjoy the clean environment, ample poop bag stations, and shaded spots for those sunny days. In addition to the dog areas, Riche Park boasts picnic zones, scenic trails for family walks, and even a playground nearby. A $5 parking fee applies, with plenty of spots to choose from. Hours are from 6:00am to 30 minutes after sunset, making it easy to visit any time of day.
