Absolutely gorgeous hike! Grateful to all the folks who posted tips in their reviews. As others said, the first half mile is pretty steep, but after that, it’s a nice walk through the woods. When you get to the sign at the fork, follow the arrow to the left side of the trail that says PCT. From the start at the parking lot, it takes about 2.5 miles to get to the falls. Once I got there I walked along the right of the falls and scrambled up to the higher layers. Didn’t go too far back bc my dog can’t really jump around or risk any falls, so I stopped when it got questionable for him. It was absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and a great spot to take a rest.

Great hike to Bursestar Falls. Not good directions. Go left at fork in trail. When you get to the falls ( 2 miles) don’t stop climb up and see 5 layers of falls.

INSPIRING GREATNESS

This hike was amazing 3 different water falls but do become aware of the steepness of this hill and trail lol. It makes a difference going on an incline for 3 hours

This trail of the Pacific Crest trail is a bit difficult to find. It’s in an unmarked quarry of the road but Google gets it the trailhead is to the far left and has the PCT sign. Starts out steep and rocky but smooths out about 0.7 miles in. It meets the main trail around that mark. Beautiful scenery and peaceful. Take water with you and can fill up in the snowmelt stream along the trail.

One of the harder yet rewarding hikes I have done. The Pacific Crest Trail is well maintained and somewhat flat. Dog trail that leads up to it is a heck of a workout. It goes straight up the hillside for about 1/2 mile and is very rocky, but has great views. Bring water you will want it.
