Exploring the woods and trails around it, if you take the trail to the brook, cross the brook, you come to a split go left cross little river, go kinda leftward, near main river you’ll find remnants of stone concrete and pipes, looks old.
Taking loop trail stay left, near end on right between two large pines is an old water fountain( non-functional)..it might be a remnant of when it was a group campground, not sure.
Going into day use area on left several feet past entrance is a faint trail(walk up Rd a short distance and you’ll find the other end of trail) follow it and you’ll find and old bathroom facility (licked) probably from when it was a campground…see if you can find them.

This is turned more into a dog park. It’s so much fun there’s paths around it, you can do a loop, you can ride your bike, you can go across the street and camp out!
