FAQ for Buckhorn RV Park in Buckhorn New Mexico:
Wonderful family owned and run operation. Very quiet and tiny town of Buckhorn. Power and water were solid. Waste was also available. Features I didn’t use were the bathrooms, showers, and laundry room. Fantastic rates. If you need somewhere to stop and get some rest….. between point A and B, this is it. Weekly and monthly also available.
Great pit stop on our drive south. We’d been boondocking for about a week, so it was nice to have a reasonable (NULL cash or cheque) full hookup to dump, refill water and get caught up on laundry. Self registration at the house beside the back in sites. Clothesline available. Quiet at night- but we did hear coyotes which we enjoy.
Nice and quiet place to stay close to some nice hiking trails and outdoor recreational places
Stopped for 1 night. Nice little park with easy access. Would stop here again.
The park itself was well maintained and clean(no trash laying around). Owner was super friendly! The rv sites are easy to get into. Only negative thing about the park is the amount of goat heads around the park. Even with the rv site right next to the road it wasn’t a restless noisy night with traffic passing by. The form of payment is good checks or cash only! You are allowed to have a fire as long as it’s in a fire ring/ pit
