Squibb Park

Squibb Park is a small urban park near the Brooklyn Bridge with a scenic view of the lower Manhattan skyline including the One World Trade Center. It features a pedestrian path leading to the waterfront, making it a nice spot for picnics and family time. The park includes a public restroom, is wheelchair accessible at the entrance, and is dog-friendly. It is quiet, clean, and has natural light, though it is more of a playfield space than a traditional park with children’s play elements.
Reviews
Very nice park, lot of natural light. Quiet and clean. Lot to visit as well.
Just some playfields with a public restoom. Nothing too remarkable, I’d say. No play elements for kids.
Funny little playground in the middle of the path from and to Brooklyn bridge park, but it has history attached.
It’s not so much of a park as it is a basketball court. The pedestrian path which leads down to the water is nice, and has great views of the financial district.
When my friend and I stopped to use the public restroom, there was 3-4 men inside smoking pot. It was a little sketchy.
Squib park has a nice view of lower Manhattan skyline. One can see one WTC building standing tall and hiding in clouds. The park gives a nice opportunity to lay picnic blanket and spend some good fam time.
