Funny little playground in the middle of the path from and to Brooklyn bridge park, but it has history attached.
Just some playfields with a public restoom. Nothing too remarkable, I’d say. No play elements for kids.
Very nice park, lot of natural light. Quiet and clean. Lot to visit as well.
It’s not so much of a park as it is a basketball court. The pedestrian path which leads down to the water is nice, and has great views of the financial district.
When my friend and I stopped to use the public restroom, there was 3-4 men inside smoking pot. It was a little sketchy.
Squib park has a nice view of lower Manhattan skyline. One can see one WTC building standing tall and hiding in clouds. The park gives a nice opportunity to lay picnic blanket and spend some good fam time.
