I did not even know this place existed! And I live in the neighborhood! But I’m glad it does. Another place in Brooklyn, still in the middle of the hustle & bustle of the city, but a nice, green nook to chill in. Across the street from the Dekalb Mall and offices, the sounds of the city surround, but, it’s nice to know you don’t have to go too far to commune with nature in the area.

Just a bunch of pathways with grass plots. Trees that will grow provide shade one day – but otherwise you’re just standing in the sun here. Nice gesture. Never bad to have another park.

I love this cute little park is finally finished! When I moved to the neighborhood in spring 2021 I wasn’t sure what to expect this square would look like in the middle of busy downtown… The 3 year wait was worth it, abolitionist place is a BK gem! 💎
