Although the park is small, it provides a direct link from Hunts Point to the Bronx River Greenway, without having to cross the Bruckner first like before. The park itself was done quite nicely and has some benches to sit down as well. I’ve seen several delivery workers using it as well, so it is helping the community in many ways.
While this park is super small and doesn’t offer much to do, it is a great place to just sit down and have a quick bite of something you brought while enjoying a peaceful view of the Bronx River. It is easily accessible from Concrete Plant Park (since there’s a pathway underneath Bruckner Boulevard that links the two parks), and you can also walk to another park that is nearby; Hunts Point Riverside Park.
Really enjoyed my visit. I didn’t even know it existed until I walked to the end of Concrete Park. Very happy that Bronxites have a place to interact with nature & reduce stress levels.The water fountains r not turned on. I would’ve given 5 stars if they were. The playground & dog park are on the Starlight Park side. I didn’t see any restrooms but there r places to sit & eat lunch.
This is a pretty small park, but it is well maintained and has some nice seating areas + views of the bronx river. It links through to Concrete Plant Park and you can walk between the two parks.
