Shaded by trees, dogs were friendly the few times I’ve come. Some owners just put dog in area, wait for them to poop and leave without picking up. Fresh water available. There were two buckets that could be filled with fresh water. The water is located in the parking lot, but easy to do. The also have a full container of bags to pick up after your dog

Nice park for the dogs to play at. Trying to start a facebook group so we can better organized with people about when they’ll be at the park for the dogs to play.

It’s okay… Our dog doesn’t seem to like the feel of wood chips on his paws (no splinters yet, knock on wood ).
Pine needles and wood chips.. and abandoned dog poop.. I wonder if the reasoning behind wood chips is to prevent some kind of mushroom apocolypse?
Anyway.
It’s better than some dog parks where there are no shade trees, so there’s that!
