Many dogs show clear signs of dog anxiety, including pacing, panting, and seeking constant reassurance. If your dog paces, whines, […]

Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, Georgia, Woodruff Park is a well-known public green space that offers urban residents and their furry friends a spot to relax and enjoy the cityscape. The park is surrounded by beautiful city views and features grassy areas perfect for walks or lounging with your pet. Dog owners will appreciate the pet-friendly atmosphere, but should be aware that the park is not dedicated solely to dogs and lacks some specialized amenities found in other dog parks.
Woodruff Park is characterized by its unique fountains, shaded benches, large open fields, and proximity to notable Atlanta attractions and the Beltline. The green space also doubles as a social hub, with frequent events, lots of seating, and a playground for children. However, visitors note that the park is shared with the local homeless community; this, along with maintenance issues and a lack of lighting at night, may affect comfort for some dog owners. The park is best enjoyed during daylight hours for those seeking dog-friendly activities downtown.
This park is total fill up with the homeless people. Last night at around 9 clock, a lady was screaming and no one decided to look inside as it was too dark, the park does not have light. I don’t blame people who didn’t go to check as we check our safety first.I was just worried what if a homeless people drag a lady or student to the park and doing something bad. Please install light in the park so if something happens people can see and call for help.

Vegan vegetarian feed the homeless was a wonderful experience to help the community, spacious Park to hold different types of events
Nice city park, nice greenage. Nice little outside gym area for workouts and a playground for kids and a center area for events. Good meeting place too. Just a fair amount of homeless here.

This is a wonderful park with only one downfall, and that’s all the homeless people. This one guy full out did his laundry and was letting it dry by the fountain. This is too nice of a place for Atlanta and it’s residents and tourists to let it go like that. I’m sure there are churches and shelters for this people to go. The police need to direct them to the right location and not here.

The park is good, especially with its unique fountains. However, the place is quite dirty and has an unpleasant smell. The Atlantic City authorities should address these issues

A beautiful park in Downtown Atlanta. Fountains everywhere. Nice benches to sit. However, did not find the place safe. The park is filled with homeless people. Hence would not recommend to visit here anytime after late evening.
