I play soccer right next to the park and anyone can use the fields. There is a basketball court and a walking/biking trail with fitness machines all around. There is also a sand volleyball court.
Respectful to Lindsey’s downward review, I found the 2023 Arkport Summerfest to be the nicest in a few years! 😀👍👍 Plenty of quality vendors, mostly local including a church ⛪, artists, knick knacks, and all the favorite food choices 🥟🍗🍧 — who have kept their prices mostly reasonable. Even a few carnival games for the kids to win a prize 🐟🎈, a packed playground, and a couple basketball games going ⛹️♂️. Clean and well staffed with friendly volunteers! 10 hours of live music is tough to schedule🎶🎸🎷, but they had the best bands scheduled >5pm which was smart. Great fireworks at the end! 🎇🎆 It was a nice relaxed atmosphere throughout, where anyone could choose the quieter hours (2-4p) or when it gets busy and rockin (6-10p).
