One of my favorite trails in the area. Five mile loop up and around the mesa. All trails underestimates distances.
Do not forget to bring water! Came across two hikers who did not bring enough. Offered what we had.

Beautiful place to hike but the Motorcycles and UTV riders can’t read or follow the rules. They are riding on the foot traffic only trails tearing up the trails.

What a beautiful trail! We hiked in this morning at 5am and got to watch the sunrise as we hiked! Great views! Not too difficult at all! Only took us around 2.5 hours to do the full loop around

Not so busy in August, the west trail to Bulldog saddle gets a pleasant shade in the afternoon.
December 2022 update- so much cooler, but get dark by 6pm. Gorgeous sunsets looking to bulldog canyon from the saddle.
3-22 update, wild flowers are amazing. So many colors
1-24 update. Trailhead busy with vacationers and new year’s goal hikers. Recent trail map signage added and some informative signs from ASU partner.

A really nice walk near the mountains and cactuses. Nice sunsets too. Good for a hike and views, but didn’t see a place to picnic.
