We were visiting from out of state. The park was very dirty. My family and I picked up trash all over the park before our 4 year old played.
Got to watch a team from Harrison Lake National Fish Hatchery planting mussels in the Potomac River.
Well, I did not use the park but did park and walked the potomac and neighborhoods. Great view along the river. The park looked fun for families.
I love coming here at night time just to relax and wind down. It’s a great spot just to sit and watch the airplanes above pass by. Also theres a great view of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and the MGM. Definetly recommend coming here at night time. Beware of otters though!
