A moderate climb to the pinnacle using the Holden trail easily done with 2 basset hounds and 2 middle aged humans.

Great hike, 3 miles round trip to the pinnacle. Much less elevation gain than other trails on the ridge but not flat! Parking is tight so be courteous and thoughtful, park close.

Great hike with variety of trails. The overlook can offer a nice cabin along with spectacular view. It’s not an easy one though, so be prepared.

The parking area is small but well marked. There are trail maps and a kiosk at the trailhead. The trail is well maintained, however many pet owners do not practice Leave No Trace principals and there is a lot of dog feces on the trail.
