Discover one of Portland’s favorite dog parks located at 4050 NE Holman St. Off-Leash Dog Park is renowned for its spacious, natural setting that showcases the beauty of the city’s changing seasons. The park is unique for having no fences, providing both dogs and owners a seamless blend of open space, shaded trees, and scenic trails—perfect for pet-friendly walks and dog-friendly hiking.
Enjoy ample room for your dog to run, play, and socialize with other friendly pups and owners. With plenty of shade, gentle hills, water jugs periodically available, and a clean environment, this park is ideal for outings year-round. There are picnic tables for seating, but be sure to bring your own water for your pet and dog waste bags as these amenities may not always be stocked. Whether you’re new to the area or a local looking for the best dog park in Portland, this spot offers a welcoming, off-leash experience for all.
What a great park! The dogs were all really friendly as well as their owners! It is clean and so much room to play!
Dogs love Fernhill. It has many trees (shade, squirrels), hills, vast open spaces, and water. For their humans, just a few picnic tables for sitting, but very walkable.
My favorite dog park in town. This park offers a lot of variety that really showcases the changing seasons. Most people and their dogs are super friendly and respectful. I love walking through the trees and making loops around the park. Sometimes people maintain a water station for dogs. Bring your own dog waste bags because they’re never restocked here.
Top notch dog park, love that it does not have fences or gates, so the park feels so spacious. No muddy spots or puddles on rainy days, but be sure to bring your own water because the water jugs are often empty here (or be a good samaritan & bring full jugs!). Beautiful fall foliage and well behaved pups, my lab loves coming here.
I love the available water, the options of shade or sun, and the options of spaces near or away from other dogs.
The boundary’s between off leash and not were hard to see at first (they are the stone posts) but once I saw them, couldn’t not see them- which I think is just a lovely way of stating the boundary without ruining the beauty of the park and the fact that this off leash area has no fences!
No fences! Part of what I like about it 🙂
