A nice trail but there isn’t really any view
Perfect for all ages, make sure to bring a bathing suit
Fantastic easy little trail. Great for kids. Clearly urban by sound, as it is btwn two highways but visually natural and a great little stop while traveling for stretching your legs, letting kids get the squirmies out, and using one of the picnic tables to have a lunch en route. **Use a tick-repelling spray** as we found two dog ticks in our car while driving afterward and we had been nowhere else that was woodsy.
Nice trail, but definitely not a place to take young children to walk. Most of the walk was a fence on one side and sheer drop off on the other. Thanks to whoever left all the cute little painted stones! My son had a great time finding them.
Easy to find, with a good parking area. This trail is one and a half miles from end to end. We just hiked it up and back for an easy three. Wide flat trail, and shaded with benches and picnic tables. It had been raining yesterday so there were some wet, muddy spots but they were easy to navigate around. A mile in you will come across a beautiful falls and at the top of the falls a nice flat area that on warm sunny days would be fun to swim. The river follows the trail all the way and is quite lovely.
