The closed this park down years ago they don’t have bathrooms here anymore. Trees have fallen down. Bushes so tall I had to use a machete to get through to see the lake. People dump trash all over. The county sign says no swimming but even the county sign is laying on the ground by the boat launch.
Beautiful camp area that’s been abandoned by the county it seems. People have really trashed the place. It’s a nice place to camp but you have to clean up a few bags of trash before you can.

It’s really sad that no one is maintaining this area anymore, would be a great place if it was just cleaned up a little. However, we were about to find a good clean area on the north end with a dock right across from it. We are thrilled with the spot and our experiance here. Road noise dies down at night. Very peaceful place all around. Would come back for sure.
Nice shady spot on a hot day. Fishing spots along the bank. Very clean restrooms. Although a bit noisy due to road traffic, a lot of semi’s.
