Lovely meandering hike through woods and prairie. Easy walk, gentle hills. Bike path was paved, trails in woods were mostly wood chips, prairie trails were mowed grass. Well maintained. Beautiful native plants in bloom, lots of birds and butterflies. Mosquitos weren’t bad iinspite of the ridiculous amount of rain we’ve had lately. We didn’t had down toward the dog park area. Highly recommend if you are looking for a more leisurely walk/hike. Limited parking but you can park on the lawn for overflow.

This park was the perfect size for a hike with my 3 year old. Painted rocks on display every 20 ft or so kept him running to investigate.

This park was AMAZING!! We walked two trails. Both were very easy: one was partially paved and then covered in fresh woodchips; the other was mowed grass. There were two storybook walks hosted by the library. There were beautifully painted rocks with various natural elements and a few fairy houses in the trees. There were also climbing logs that the kids loved. During our mid-May visit, there were beautiful purple flowers in the woods!

I adore this place year-round.
My dog loves it too, always a new space to explore. The gardeners do such a lovely job in the spring and I enjoy the butterflies and watching the flowers change all throughout summer. Fall is also a treat!

Was so surprised by this nice park! We went there to look around for an event and found lots of precious items. From blocks with the alphabet and local flora and fuana, to fairy doors. Definitely cute for a short hike. Bike trail also goes through.

The other half of park is more dog park focused. There is a fruit orchard, but the trees are still young. Can’t wait to see it in a few years!
