Many dogs show clear signs of dog anxiety, including pacing, panting, and seeking constant reassurance. If your dog paces, whines, […]

If you’re searching for one of the largest off-leash dog parks in Niceville, Florida, look no further than Niceville Dog Park on FL-85. This expansive, pet-friendly location features plenty of open space for dogs to run, play, and socialize under the cooling shelter of majestic oak trees. The park is known for its welcoming community of local dog owners and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, making it one of the top spots for dog lovers in the Emerald Coast area.
While the large size is perfect for active dogs and those who love to roam, owners of smaller or timid dogs should use discretion, as the park can feel overwhelming during peak hours. Visitors frequently comment on the park’s secure fencing and ample shady spots, providing both safety and comfort. Just a gentle reminder to keep the park clean—please pick up after your pups!
Love this dog park! Secure, shaded, large.
The Niceville Dog Park is one of the largest I’ve visited, with plenty of space for dogs to run and play. It’s a great spot, but the size can make it hard to manage dogs if they’re aggressive or in heat. It may also feel overwhelming for smaller dogs.
I love love this place so many nice people and dogs with plenty of space and majestic oaks trees for shade
Very large dog park the biggest one I’ve been to my dog really enjoys it!
!!!!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PICK IP YOUR DOG POOP!!!!
First time visit with my girlfriend and our dogs (hers is a black lab/mastiff mix; my dog is black lab/APBT mix). Both dogs had fun and actually made some doggo friends. Everyone was really friendly and they all loved talking about their respective dogs — it was kind of cute how everyone had so many dog things in common! Much more friendly than the FWB dog park (at Liza Jackson Park on Hwy 98 in FortWaltonBeach)!
The only issue was when we were leaving (along with two other dog owners were leaving with us) — this lady was trying to enter with her two chihuahuas and a pure bred APBT; she was too focused on her chihuahuas that she didn’t see her APBT get aggressive with one of the male dog owners and his older chow-mix dog. It took the rest of us to intervene and the lady acted like she had NO CLUE what happened! Ugh, so frustrating! Thankfully her aggressive dog got distracted by my dog & another dog, and it stopped trying to bite the guy & his dog. Needless to say, it was a scary situation predicated by a careless owner (the lady only cared about her chihuahuas not her APBT). Who knows, maybe she will see this review and realize she needs to be more attentive??
Even despite that one little thing, it was an amazing experience and everyone else including their doggos were great!! 5 stars!!!
