This is an easy to moderate trail. There is one section along the trail that is rocky and some wash out ruts, after you pass that there will be a sign for 2 mile or 4 mile loop.
A nice after dinner hike in the black hills , the signs at the beginning were a bit concerning but the wildlife left us alone
Beautiful trails, just long enough for a relaxing hike. Wear solid hiking shoes path is rocky in places and the is some mild climbing in places on the more different paths
Great views and a very nice trail. Actual miles are a bit shy of advertised and there is a near by prison whose loud speaker interrupts the natural silence. Even so though the little plaques of inspiring words and the beauty of the resting area combined with low amount of traffic makes Serenity feel like just that!
