We needed one night of boarding and daycare while we were in the area as vendors at an art market nearby. We travel frequently for these markets and Dogtopia facilities have been a wonderful, reliable option for our dogs who travel with us.
I’ve had several disappointing experiences with Dogtopia in New Rochelle. On multiple occasions, my dog was groomed incorrectly—completely different from the clear instructions I provided. It feels like they groom dogs however they want, without regard for the owner’s requests. That’s unacceptable, especially when I’m paying for a specific service.
One day after grooming, my dog came home with severe diarrhea. When I called to report it, I was told he had eaten hair off the floor. There was no apology, no concern—just a careless explanation. It’s extremely troubling that no one was watching him, and the environment wasn’t clean or safe.
To make matters worse, they rarely answer the phone and are overall very unprofessional. Communication is poor, and the lack of accountability is frustrating. I would not recommend this location based on my experiences.
My dog loves to come here! He comes for daycare a few times a month and has also boarded overnight for a week. He always comes home happy and exhausted from running around with other dogs all day and I love being able to check on him on the webcam!! Highly recommend
My puppy loves it here. The staff is wonderful super nice and professional, Justin reached out right after my puppy’s meet and greet and gave me a detailed run through of how he did the first time. I feel very confident and comfortable with the daycare, looking forward to trying the grooming services next!
This was my first time at Dogtopia. I wanted my dog Nelson to go to daycare so he can socialize more, especially since we work long hours and we hate having him be alone all day. During his trial the staff was so nice and welcoming. They made sure to give me a tour around every room in the facility and explained everything and the daily doggy schedule. After his trial they even let him stay the day. I was put even more at ease because they have cameras where I can watch to make sure my dog wasn’t being crazy lol. I highly recommend this facility and I’m so glad we found a place for my dog to get some energy out!
