This pet-friendly park provides convenience with available poop bags, trash bins, benches, and some shade from nearby trees. There is also a water bowl available during warmer months to help keep your dog hydrated. The park is known for its welcoming, friendly community atmosphere and is conveniently located right by the entrance of Mount Carmel City Park with ample parking. Even though the park can get crowded at times, it’s a favorite gathering spot for local dog owners and visitors alike.
My grandkids love coming to the park. It’s always clean and well maintained. We had to cut our outing short when we realized the new bathrooms were locked. 🥴
The restroom is clean and the park is clean. They keep the lawn mowed. I have noticed there is more for the younger kids than there is for the bigger kids, some days you can get lucky and have peace other times it’s crowded with people being there is a golf course near the park. They have a restaurant as well that I have not been in. I’m sure it’s high priced being that’s where I see all the golfers go but, again I’m not sure on that.
Perfect place to picnic 🧺
Kids had fun, before the Eclipse
I rarely give 5 stars but this time it was necessary.
I traveled from Berwyn Illinois
to your beautiful city to watch the Eclipse in totality.
Your City Park was a perfect place to watch the Eclipse.
My family of 9, couldn’t have been more excited.
I want to thank the City for welcoming guests, to watch the Eclipse with them.
Thank you
City of Mt. Carmel
My grandkids love all of the different types of playsets to play on, nice and clean, they have real nice places to have a picnic and I believe they have pickle ball courts.
