This area has a beautiful trail to bike, walk or run on. The area is quiet and the trails are pretty flat. Watch out for the tree roots that have been covered and maintained. This will make it bumpy in areas. In the spring the mosquitoes are horrible in the shady areas and around the bathrooms so highly recommend taking bug spray for the times that you want to stop. They’re our picnic tables and restrooms along the trail but no areas to get water. You can refill your water in the small towns as you go through them if you plan to go far.
Besides the bugs that can be irritating, it’s a beautiful ride. You may be able to spot a moose, deer, beavers, and heron.
