Like many visitors to LA, we made our way to one of the most popular spots for that iconic Hollywood Sign photo. The park itself is undeniably pretty, with sweeping views and open space where kids can stretch their legs and play. That said, the journey in can test your patience—the single road leading up is often bumper-to-bumper, and parking can be a challenge. Once you’re there, expect a mix of food vendors selling refreshing treats and plenty of folks offering to snap your photo for a fee. It’s worth stopping by for the classic view, but with the crowds and chaos, an hour here is more than enough before moving on to the next adventure.
You can see the Hollywood sign everywhere in LA, but this is easily the best spot for it. We took a Lyft from our Hotel in West Hollywood which was not cheap price range but totally worth it. The views are incredible. So many amazing angles too to take pictures.
We came on a Friday lunch time, and it was chaotic busy so can imagine what a weekend would look like. There were a lot of minibuses so assuming there’s tour service for it too.

Definitely, head to this park but once again, get there EARLY before the rest of the tourists arrive. Great photo spot. But must be patient when it gets crowded. Plenty of parking. Doesn’t leave you close, but great view. And you can enjoy a lovely day at the park too!
