Dog Anxiety: Causes, Signs & What Actually Helps
Many dogs show clear signs of dog anxiety, including pacing, panting, and seeking constant reassurance. If your dog paces, whines, […]

Located in the heart of Playa Vista, Bluff Creek Dog Park is a much-loved dog park in Los Angeles, California, designed to cater to both large and small canine companions. The park features fully enclosed areas separating big and small dogs, making it safe and enjoyable for pets of all sizes. With well-maintained astro turf, synthetic grass, and denatured granite surfaces, you don’t have to worry about muddy paws or messy wood chips.
One of the unique amenities here is the small water stream (trough) that allows dogs to cool off and hydrate—though visitors are encouraged to bring their own bowls. Pet owners can relax on shaded benches while their pups play off-leash, and amenities like free street parking, dog waste bags, and plenty of seating make this park both convenient and welcoming. Located near sports fields and bathrooms, this clean and friendly park is a great stop for locals and visitors alike, especially given its proximity to LAX.
Very nicely done dog park, with little hills, lots of benches and a small stream running through. For me, the biggest benefit is short distance from the airport. We use it before and after the flight.
Amazing place to take your furry family members. The dog park is clean and people are friendly. The park features astro turf with a water way from the fountain that runs through the big dog section. Their are sports fields and bathrooms within walking distance.
This place is very nice and clearly was designed for dogs. Big and little dogs are separated. There is a nice trough in the middle to give the dogs water. The water is a little gross with them sharing and also dogs lay in it so would recommend bringing your own water dish.
Nice off-leash dog park with big and small sides, with separate entrance/exit and transition area. DooDoo bags are available. Synthetic grass, denatured granite, and concrete areas for surfaces. Benches and shade available. It is medium/small in size. Free streetside parking is available. Has a weird water trough stream thing that most visitors don’t like.
Our favourite dog park in the area, with both a small and a big dog park. The right amount of space, a little “river” with fresh water for the dogs and a few benches for the humans. Fake grass and some concrete makes the floor. Better than wood chipping, that gets stuck under dog paws and in their mouths..
Parking on the street is free, and if not right by the park, we always find a spot a bit further up or in one of the side streets.
