Our family enjoyed this trail. When we were there (April 5), definitely not a dry creek, the water was quite high, there was no dry way to cross the creek and complete the trail but we enjoyed the parts we could walk. Skipping rocks in the river, stacking stones and enjoying the wildflowers. We’ll come back later in the year, I’m sure as the water levels drop you’ll be able to cross the creek again.

Never crowded, always just one or two other cars up here when I go. There’s also a frisbee golf course around the trails. Trails are easy, and such great views of the mountains. There is a creek you have to cross but never really deep and looks like they provided some big size rocks to help you cross, just be mindful if you or anyone in your party has walking issues, or little ones. I just let the pups off the leash and let them swim across. Also, there is plenty of running room for dogs (not sure if there’s any rules against this) but there are also ALOT of foxtails and other harmful stickers right off the paths so don’t say I didn’t warn you!
